Judge Joseph Bianco, a Federalist Society member appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit by former guy Donald J. Trump decided to risk the lives of millions of New York City school-children by granting an injunction preventing enforcement of a Covid19 vaccine mandate for New York City public school staff.
The injunction was granted while the case was referred for review by a three judge panel on an expedited basis. Given the recent release of a trio of studies by the Centers for Disease control advocating for a “multi-layer” approach -one that includes both mask mandates and vaccine requirements- to prevent the spread of Covid19, the ruling is seen by many as pure partisan nonsense, and a gross violation of Canons 1, 2, 3 and 5 of the Code of Conduct for United States Judges.
