Speaking on NBC’s Meet The Press Sunday, House January 6th Committee Chair Congressman Bennie Thompson said the committee staff “don’t have any real knowledge” of House members giving tours to rioters, but they “have a lot of information about communication with individuals who came,” and are looking at subpoenas for those House members. When asked if it was a planned assault or a protest that simply got out of hand, Thompson said it was “a little bit of both”.
