Three police officers in Houston were wounded Thursday aftenoon by a shooter who drove away from the scene in a white Mercedes, NBC News reports. The three were in an area south of downtown when they were struck by gunfire.
The police officers were reportedly involved in a pursuit of the vehicle before the shooting. All officers are reported in stable condition at a local hospital.
