CNN’s Zachary Cohen reports that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has asked the FBI for help in providing security for buildings and staff one day after [Donald] Trump said at his Texas rally that “supporters should hold ‘the biggest protests we have ever had’ in cities like Atlanta if ‘racist’ prosecutors ‘do anything wrong or illegal.'”
Willis is looking into Trump’s efforts to intimidate Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and other state officials to overturn the results of the election in the state where Trump lost to Joe Biden.
