A white 44-year-old Wisconsin man has been charged with a series of felonies and hate crimes for repeatedly harassing and threatening Black and Hispanic families, leaving ominous notes and damaging their vehicles, WISN ABC-12 Milwaukee reports.

William McDonald was charged by federal officials for multiple crimes after a search warrant was executed last week during which officers found screwdrivers, a baseball bat and a note in a sandwich bag in his car.  According to the criminal complaint, the note read:  “Drive like a stupid ghetto fucking [n-word] in MY neighborhood. This is what happens bitch. I’m watching all you fucking monkeys around here. Get the fuck back to the northside ghetto where you belong. Next time it will be your windshield you piece of shit fucking [n-word]. TEST ME!”

Because of his raging racism and anger issues, McDonald had set out to intimidate and frighten non-white families in the neighborhood, terrorizing families within a mile of his apartment in West Allis, Wisconsin.  Notes found on cars and doors match McDonald’s handwriting. 

McDonald allegedly slashed numerous tires, including at a mixed race family whose car tires were punctured.  A note on the car read:  “You thought I was playing about driving + speeding in MY neighborhood you piece of shit [n-word]? Get the fuck back to the [n-word] northside where you belong before I put sand in your gas tank [n-word].”

“It kind of sucks to have somebody in the neighborhood that just doesn’t know who I am at all and because of my skin tone; you just don’t want me in the neighborhood,” Reginald Wilkerson said in a March 14 interview with WISN 12.
