With eerie similarity to the white nationalist who killed ten people at a Buffalo supermarket, the shooter who killed 21 people, including 19 children, purchased the two weapons he used in the massacre on his 18th birthday, The Daily Beast reports.
The Uvalde shooter also hinted to his plans to a random girl from California who he contacted on social media, telling her he wanted to tell her a “lil secret” after tagging her in photos of him and his new guns the day before the slaughter. Puzzled why he chose her and not feeling well, the girl went to sleep Monday night only to learn that the man who messaged her went on a shooting spree.
He also messaged an old classmate he was in sporadic contact with photos of the guns and at least seven magazines of ammunition, to which the friend replied, “Bro, why do you have this?” The shooter responded, “Don’t worry about it.”
