The Uvalde Police Department and the police department for the city’s school district has ceased cooperating with the state probe into the police response to the shooter who killed 19 students and two teachers at Robb Elementary School, ABC News reports.
According to ABC’s sources, the local departments stopped cooperating with state authorities after the head of the Texas Department of Public Safety, Col. Steven McCraw, told a Friday press conference that the people handing the response to the active shooter made “the wrong decision” in not sending in officers.
