Georgia Governor Brian Kemp will sit down and chat with the Fulton County district attorney’s office in front of the grand jury investigating disgraced former President Trump’s failed effort to overturn his embarrassing and pathetic loss in the state, Bloomberg reports. It’s still hilarious that Trump lost friggin Georgia in 2020 after winning it by more than 5% in 2016. And there was no fraud, he just lost because he sucks and it motivated people to turn out against him. Nobody really expected it beforehand, except fellow loser former Senator David “Chickenshit” Perdue, who warned Trump about it repeatedly and was mostly ignored. Then Perdue got completely embarrassed again this year trying to run for the Republican nomination for governor after Trump endorsed him.
UPDATE 7/25/2022 11:44 AM EDT: A Fulton County judge on Monday disqualified Willis’s office from questioning one of the fake electors, Republican Lt Gov candidate and state Senator Burt Jones, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Jones’s team had argued Willis appeared at a fundraiser for Jones’s Dem opponent. It does not let Jones off the hook altogether however, as he would still need to be questioned by a neighboring county DA’s office.
