Now for our fourth article of the day with “grand jury” in the headline, we will inform our readers that the Wall Street Journal reports that former Mike Pence counsel Greg Jacob – who testified live to the House January 6th Select Committee at their third hearing last month – was questioned by a federal grand jury in DC last week along with former Chief of Staff Marc Short.
Jacob – who had advised Pence there was no way to reject the electors and was in the Capitol on insurrection day – famously wrote MAGA fascist lawyer John Eastman an email saying “thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege,” as the rioters surrounded the building, to which Eastman replied “The ‘siege’ is because YOU and your boss did not do what was necessary to allow this to be aired in a public way so the American people can see for themselves what happened.”
