Despite MAGA freakouts and media coverage over increases in violent crime since the pandemic began in 2020 – which right wing media assclowns sometimes forget happened while Trump was still in office – a New York Times analysis of FBI data shows that shootings have dropped 4% and murders in big cities are down 3% in 2022. It’s the first drop recorded since 2018.
