Even though he had people like Marjorie Taylor-Greene and Lauren Boebert campaign for him in Florida and getting the endorsement of the ghost of Mike Flynn, Republican state legislator Anthony Sabatini lost the GOP primary for the 7th Congressional District to more mainstream Republican Cory Mills, Cook Political Report election guru Dave Wasserman declared.
Sabatini tried to glom on to every far-right conspiracy theory and grievance, even claiming President Joe Biden should be impeached for not considering a white man for the open Supreme Court seat for which he eventually nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson. Recently, he promoted the unconstitutional idea that Florida officials should arrest any federal law enforcement officials who operates in the state.
