Two Cobb County, Georgia sheriff’s deputies were killed Thursday evening as they attempted to serve a warrant on a person who pulled a gun, and now the gunman is barricaded in his home, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
As of 9:50 p.m. ET, the situation was still on-going, according to a tweet by the sheriff’s office, which detailed the location of future media updates. “This remains an active incident. No additional information is available at this time,” the office tweeted.
