Newsmax Senior Producer Ilona Braverman went on a bizarre rant about meat-alternative Impossible burgers on Friday morning, claiming variously that they’re “made in a lab” and she prefers food that’s “real” and “came from the earth and the planet.” Braverman then said Bill Gates “implanted” the burgers “with chips” in furtherance of some nefarious globalist mind and/or population control agenda. “I don’t want to eat Bill Gates’s fake meat,” she added.
We’re just assuming Braverman actually knows that Bill Gates backed Impossible’s launch. It’s actually pretty likely she simply threw his name in there because she and her audience like to use him as a boogeyman for everything that frightens them and just happened to be right this time.
