Federal prosecutors have concluded they have enough evidence to indict disgraced former President Trump on obstruction of justice charges for his fucking around with moving stolen documents around Mar-a-Lago after they were subpoenaed though they have yet to make the formal recommendation to Attorney General Merrick Garland amid variables on timing, politics, and potential charges on other crimes Donald could be hit with, Bloomberg reports.
Not hard to imagine this leak was sanctioned from the top of the Justice Department as they’ve been pretty few and far between during Garland’s tenure, trying to soften the ground before prosecutors move ahead on the Orange God Emperor. The Bloomberg report also says Garland is unlikely to make a decision before Christmas as the investigation into the main crime of the theft of the documents as well as the failed insurrection attempt after Trump’s 2020 loss continue.
