Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Wednesday announced that over 2 million voters had cast ballots so far in the 2022 election, doubling total turnout in just eight days, Atlanta News First reports. Raffensperger lieutenant Gabe Sterling said that, as of Tuesday, 1,947,191 ballots have been cast, with 1,762,981 ballots cast early in person and 184,210 absentees accepted.
