Feckless you-know-what Ivanka Trump earlier this month tried and failed to escape the oversight of an independent financial monitor appointed by Manhattan Judge Arthur Engoron at the request of New York State Attorney General Letitia James, the Daily Beast reports.
Ivanka’s attorneys attempted to exclude herself – and only herself – from the eyes of retired federal Judge Barbara S Jones, who is tasked with sifting through the Trump family’s criminal empire and ensuring they don’t try to move any assets without court approval. Jones previously served as special master to sort out attorney-client privileged materials in the federal investigations into Trump lawyer Michael Cohen and shitbrained alcoholic Rudy Giuliani. Jones was also suggested by the Justice Department as a special master candidate to sort out the Mar-a-Lago documents case, but that role instead went to Brooklyn federal Judge Raymond Dearie.
