A judge in Arizona on Thursday ordered the Board of Supervisors in rural Cochise County to shut the fuck up and certify the results of the 2022 midterms, NPR reports. “You will meet today. You will canvass this election by 5 pm,” Pima County Superior Court Judge Casey McGinley ordered, finding that there was no legal basis for the refusal to certify as all precincts had reported their results.
The board’s refusal to certify by the deadline Monday immediately drew two separate lawsuits, from a group of voters and from Secretary of State/Governor-elect Katie Hobbs, suing to compel the three-member board’s two Republican members to suck it up. The MAGA dipshits, who falsely claimed the tabulation machines have been decertified (they weren’t) were last month hit with a similar court order to stop their moronic plan to count all ballots by hand.
