Allow me to introduce Kirk’s newest stupid thing: moving the RNC headquarters from Washington, DC–the political center of the nation where the Party’s leaders sit in their elected positions–to Bumfuck, Georgia or Caucasiana, Wisconsin… ’cause that’s were the people are!
Trump tried this, thanks to his stupidly bad idea of moving the headquarters of the Bureau of Land Management to Grand Junction, Colorado. Guess what? The office moved back to DC in September 2021 because it’s stupid to move leadership away from the leaders.
