A Capitol rioter who wore a shirt bearing the words “Fags for Trump” and a rainbow flag to the insurrection was arrested Thursday in Sherman Oaks, California after an hours-long standoff with FBI agents and cops who had surrounded his home after identifying him nearly two years after the deadly insurrection wrought by assholes who couldn’t cope with Trump’s loss, NBC News reports.
It’s not clear yet what Eric Christie, who carried what appeared to be a hammer to the attack, was charged with, though it may’ve been a felony given that he had something on him. NBC’s report indicates he’s a pal of right wing Beverly Hills eyelash salon owner Gina Bisignano, MAGA famous for her defiance of COVID lockdowns who was also hit with Capitol riot charges, as well as DJ Rodriguez, they guy who tasered DC cop Mike Fanone.
