The shooter who killed three children and three adults at the Covenant Presbyterian School in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday as has been confirmed by authorities as a 28 year-old former student at the school named Audrey Hale, NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports.
And yes, it is true that Hale at the very least identified as a man on their LinkedIn profile’s “(He/Him)” pronouns, so expect a lot of transphobic shit from the fanboys over this. They’ll call it a product of “gender dysphoric” mental illness but of course fall silent when asked to explain why that or any other psychological ailment shouldn’t prevent someone from buying two fucking AR-15s.
UPDATE 3/27/2023 5:02 PM EDT: ABC News reports the victims are Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all 9 years old. The slain adults were identified as Cynthia Peak, 61, Mike Hill, 61, and Katherine Koonce, 60, who was the head of the school.
