MSNBC reports that Juan Merchan, the New York County Superior Court judge who oversaw the criminal trial of the Trump Organization for financial fraud, will be the presiding judge in Donald Trump’s upcoming criminal trial for financial fraud.

With 16 years experience and knowledge about the finances of the Trump Organization, Merchan oversaw the case regarding the company’s manipulation of its properties values to lower tax liabilities or increase paper assets for loan applications.
