QAnon fans on the GreatAwakening.win forum responded to Robert F Kennedy Jr’s Wednesday presidential campaign launch with mixed feelings of excitement over Jr’s anti-vax views and trepidation that, in the extremely unlikely event that Kennedy would defeat Joe Biden in the 2024 primary and capture the Dem nomination, he would still likely have to face Trump in the general.
“Part of me soo wants JFK Jr to pop out suddenly 😁 And the duo finish what their fathers started!” one user wrote responding to the news, referring to the messianic QAnon sub-sect centered on John F Kennedy Jr who believe his return is the key to the initiation of “The Storm.” Another fan then replied “Stop Im getting a chub. Id still be 100% Trump. Id gladly see RFKjr in Trumps cabinet though.” To the same point another fantasized that Kennedy “gets the dem nomination, trump on the flip side and we have a history throwback where the loser is VP,” which would require the Constitution’s 12th Amendment to be repealed after 220 years after it was ratified.
Many seemed to settle on hope that, if not Trump’s running mate, that Kennedy would instead end up in another key post in the Second Trump Administration. “Hope there’s at least a place for him in 45-47’s Cabinet. He’d be a brilliant HHS Secretary,” one fan wrote in a different thread. Another said that would’ve already happened in 2017 but “the deep state got to the Presidents ear.”
