If Stephen Miller had a female doppelganger, it would be Laura Loomer, the Islamophobic, LGBTQ-phobic, fact-phobic Florida white nationalist who makes performative runs for Congress to make money. And of course, Donald Trump loves her, so according to the New York Times, he’s instructed his cabal to find a paid position for Loomer on his campaign staff after meeting with her recently.
Trump’s team seems to be slow-walking Loomer’s hire, perhaps fearful that her hate-filled rhetoric would overshadow Trump’s own bigotry, or maybe aware that she would be a mess to deal with, both professionally and relating to having to clean up the messes she would cause as an official member of Trump’s campaign.
