Fat former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who isn’t going to get elected president whether or not he runs in 2024, on Thursday told right wing radio dickhead Hugh Hewitt that fat former President Trump is a “puppet” of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, Politico reports.
“I think he’s a coward and I think he’s a puppet of Putin. I don’t know why, to tell you the truth, but I can’t figure it out, but there’s no other conclusion to come to,” Christie said, unable to articulate why despite abundant evidence of political and financial support the Putin regime channeled to Trump.
We’re not big on picking up hot takes from has-beens like Christie, but this one’s worth it if only to point out Thursday marks six years exactly since Trump told NBC’s Lester Holt he had fired FBI Director James Comey over the Russia investigation. Six fucking years and only now is Chris Christie coming out and saying this publicly. Even goddamned Kevin McCarthy said it (albeit privately and on a secret recording) before this chunky bastard Christie finally grows the balls to acknowledge it.
