Senate passes debt ceiling bill

Our long national nightmare of tedious, repetitive political news coverage of the debt ceiling bill negotiations and all that shit is now really 100 percent finally over until early 2025, as the Senate on Thursday night officially passed HR 3746 by a margin of 63 to 36. The bill now heads to President Biden’s desk for signature. Will update shortly with the yes/no breakdowns by each party.
