When we say “disappointing,” we mean disappointing to them because any good news for the American economy while Joe Biden is in the White House is bad news for MAGA world, especially after a potential economic catastrophe was averted this week in Congress. Between Bartiromo lamenting that the 339,000 US jobs added in May – over an expected 195,000 – would “likely trigger Joe Biden to take a victory lap,” and Joe Concha ever so slightly hinting at some sort of vast conspiracy to lowball expectations in the forecasts, saying “the jobs count has now beaten estimates in 14 of the last 17 months… It is amazing how people keep getting the estimate wrong” with an angry, incredulous smirk, and some other dickhead trying to find the tarnished lining with “inflation still eating at real wages,” this very political-ish “business news” update is a keeper.
Later on Friday morning Bartiromo appeared on main Fox News to speak to the report, mostly easing up on her butthurt, saying “This is a good report. No doubt about it,” and that the new jobs created were mostly higher paying, white collar positions. Still, she had to “what I don’t like about this report is that unemployment is rising. The unemployment rate is now up to 3.7 percent” from 3.4 percent previously, so at least Batshit Barty was able to salvage some kind of “win” from it.
