Pushed by CNN’s Kaitlyn Collins after he again failed to denounce white nationalists serving in the military, Republican Alabama Senator and guy one hood short of a uniform Tommy Tuberville again insists white nationalists are improperly considered racists. “If, if people think that a white nationalist is racist, I agree [that they should not serve],” he starts with before inserting his foot deeper into his mouth. “Well, tha- that’s some people’s opinion. … My opinion of a white natio– if someone wants to call them a white nationalist, is an American, is an American. Now if that white nationalist is a racist, I’m totally against anything they want to do.”
Continuing to threaten national security by holding up promotions for senior military officers filling vital national security positions, Tuberville’s threat to the fabric of the nation risks turning the entire country into Alabama.
