Trump lawyer John Lauro on Wednesday floated another fantasy on television, telling CBS This Morning he’s going to ask DC Circuit Judge Tanya Chutkan to move the disgraced former president’s trial to West Virginia, which Lauro said is “in close proximity” and “much more diverse.”

Yeah, he actually said that “diverse” part about the Mountain State, whose population is 89 percent non-Hispanic white and where Trump won by 39 percent in 2020. We can’t find a clip of it just yet.
