A one-time dermatologist from California who donated enough money to the GOP that he hit the “Ambassador to Iceland” loyalty level during the last months of the Trump Administration is now making a play to take the Republican nomination for the Nevada Senate seat, the Washington Post reports.

Jeffrey Gunter announced he’ll challenge Party-anointed candidate Sam Brown, an Army veteran, and election denialist Jim Marchant for the GOP nomination to take on Democrat Jacky Rosen for the seat in 2024.
