After having appeared bogged down for months in brutal attrition against Putin’s armies in the Ukraine’s occupied east, it appears that Kyiv has made some significant gains in recent days that may have set the stage for rapid advances like those seen late last year, Bloomberg reports.
The push for the Sea of Azov, which would split Kremlin’s forces in two along the axis and cutting off the land route to Crimea, comes as the Ukrainians pummeled Russian cities with a furious round of drone strikes this week, destroying government and military assets while sparing civilian targets.
