“They cheated on the Election in so many ways. Ballot stuffing, the 51 Intelligence Agents, not getting approval from state legislatures, FBI/Twitter Files, and much more. The Election was long over, I wasn’t campaigning, I was just doing my job. I am entitled to IMMUNITY!!!” wrote fat former President Trump on Truth Social on Wednesday morning, at least the third time in the last four days that he posted some version of the same rant falsely stressing the “I was not campaigning” aspect of his bullshit “presidential immunity” defense as he faces a crucial DC Appeals Court hearing on January 9th in a desperate bid to avoid going on trial before the 2024 election.

Trump even pinned a post saying more or less the same shit on Tuesday night, as if there was any doubt about just how important it is for him to tell his fans he wasn’t campaigning, even though it’s beyond dispute that he continued collecting donations from them after election day in 2020 and that the January 6th Ellipse rally in which he incited the Capitol riot was a political and not official event.

“They illegally spied on my campaign, lied to Congress, cheated FISA, didn’t get approval from State Legislatures, lost control of ballot counting, stuffed ballots, 51 Fake Intelligence Agents, FBI/Twitter Files, and much more, and they come after me for Election Interference. Only in America!” Trump continued in another post. This one’s great. Love the “They illegally spied on my campaign, lied to Congress, cheated FISA,” as if the grievances from 2016 are supposed to matter now. Even better are the repeats of the “FBI/Twitter Files” bullshit – sorry fucking Hunter’s laptop didn’t help swing the 2020 election your way like you paying off Stormy Daniels helped you big time in 2016 – and the “didn’t get approval from State Legislatures,” which is both completely false and implies he’s still butthurt that more people simply were able to vote by mail than in prior elections.
