Employing an unorthodox coping mechanism, Travis McBride, 46-year-old anger management counselor from DeLand, Florida, shot and killed a homeless man, dragged the corpse across the road, searched the site for expended shells, stuffed the body into his car and drove off.
NBC News reports police received multiple 9-1-1 calls from witnesses reporting the crime on Thursday, with one identifying McBride and the victim, 51-year-old Clinton Dorsey. One witness said McBride was angry with Dorsey because, McBride believed, Dosey intended to harm McBride’s dogs with a jarful of glass he had collected. The witness said she was scared of McBride because McBride threatened to harm her if she warned Dorsey.
