A Colorado pastor and his wife last week admitted that the charges from the state’s securities commission that the “INDXcoin” crypto was a complete scam and a lot of the $3.2 million they made selling it to their “flock” went to remodeling their home, the Guardian reports.
Like this wasn’t them reading a statement after pleading guilty in court or anything, Eli and Kaitlyn Regalado just outright telling their fans in a video that they “took God at his word and sold a cryptocurrency with no clear exit,” and “The charges are that me and Kaitlyn pocketed $1.3 million. I just wanted to come out and say those charges are true. A few hundred thousand dollars went to a home remodel the Lord told us to do.” Honesty is a Christian virtue.
