NYPD investigators believe they’ve solved two mysteries in one fell swoop: What happened to the left leg of a man who was struck and killed by a train at the Spring Street subway station in Soho, Manhattan on February 12th, and why the hell workers found a human leg on the tracks near the 167th Street station in the Bronx on Saturday. As ABC 7 explains, it turns out the leg somehow got lodged in the bottom of a passing train – likely separate from the one that struck the man – and then finally fell out on the tracks nine miles north in the Bronx at some point over the following six days.
