Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Friday informed members that the chamber “will receive the managers as they present the articles of impeachment for Secretary Mayorkas to the Senate. Please be advised that all Senators will be sworn in as jurors in the trial the day after the articles are presented, and Senate President Pro Tempore Patty Murray will preside. I remind Senators that your presence next week is essential,” but not saying whether he would dismiss the articles.
He didn’t not say it either. Either way it’ll be a good opportunity for Senate Dems to remind Americans that fat former President Trump commanded Republicans to do nothing on border security to avoid handing Biden a “win” and so he could keep campaigning on it as an issue.
