The woman who boisterously and excitedly cheered adjudicated rapist and impending denizen of the defense table Donald Trump at an Atlanta fast food restaurant during what appeared to be an impromptu stop was actually a Black conservative activist who spent weeks setting up the event with the campaign, the Associated Press reports.
And the activist is mad that the campaign pretended that Trump just stumbled on the scene. Michaelah Montgomery, a former state GOP employee and founder of founder of Conserve the Culture, posted on TikTok–not Truth–that she’s bothered the media is reporting that it was a random interaction–as if a staged event to praise Trump by Black people is more honorable.
“Everybody got together at around 9:30 in the morning and walked on over to the Chick-fil-A and then we sat there and waited until the president showed up,” said Montgomery, the woman seen in viral videos hugging Trump and telling him that Black people really, really like him. “It’s really disheartening to see that the media makes it seem like we just stumbled into a Chick-fil-A and he bought us milkshakes.”
