Fresh off an appearance in Arizona which highlighted Democrats’ effort to protect reproductive rights versus Republicans’ attempt to bring the country back to 1864, Vice President Kamala Harris will continue to spotlight conservatives’ ongoing war on women. According to CBS News, Harris will make a stop in Las Vegas on Monday where she’ll announce the Biden-Harris campaign will assist with the effort to collect signatures for a November ballot initiative to enshrine reproductive rights in Nevada.
To qualify for the ballot in Nevada, a referendum must collect more than 102,000 signatures, with at least 25,500 from each of the state’s four Congressional districts. Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom, the local group leading the effort, has already collected 110,000 signatures statewide, but must now ensure they have enough to reach the district distribution requirement.
