After one of her traditional rants about how everything is biased against Donald Trump (including, apparently, the evidence in all the cases), Trump spokeslawyer Alina Habba proposes that Hunter Biden was convicted in a trial rigged against the defendant to make things seem balanced, an argument Senator Bob Menendez and Congresswoman Cori Bush would oppose.
“Now they say, oh, hey, you were convicted by a New York blue jury, but now you can talk. Don’t get it twisted,” Habba twists it. “This is what they’re doing to make the American people think that everything is fair and square when we know it is not. It’s much like Hunter Biden who’s still walking around freely despite the sham of a trial that they had for him to make them look like their not biased.”
So far, Trump has been convicted/found liable in a Manhattan criminal court and in a New York State civil trial. Hunter Biden was convicted in a federal trial in Delaware. And Hunter Biden is “still walking around freely” for exactly same reason her client is still walking around freely: he hasn’t been sentenced yet.
