Largely lost amid the shitshow of the last month was that Democrats had actually made serious ground on highlighting the extremist Reich-y Project 2025 plan that convicted felon former President Trump had tried to distance himself from before picking a running mate who talks like an AI chatbot programmed by the same Heritage Foundation gauleiters that came up with the plan.
A new Navigator Research survey’s findings show that the fat fuck was absolutely right to try to lie his way out being associated with policy proposals like banning IVF, birth control, no-fault divorce, and all sorts of other barbaric shit, as increasing awareness has wrought serious opposition from respondents: The net overall favorability is down 32 percent since June 9th, at 43 percent unfavorable to 11 percent favorable, with the rest saying “don’t know.” Even among those who self-identified as “MAGA Republicans,” the net favorability is down by 9 percent from +10 to +1, likely reflecting some dim awareness that turning America into Nazi Germany is an electoral liability.
Even worse for Team Orange, despite their frantic and disorganized efforts to create distance from the project: “A plurality of Americans believe Project 2025 accurately represents what Trump stands for (net +29; 45 percent describes – 16 percent does not describe, with 39 percent saying they don’t know enough to say). Among independents, two in three are not sure whether Project 2025 aligns with Donald Trump’s principles (64 percent).” By the way this was all sampled before Joe Biden dropped out and Kamala Harris became the nominee. She’s read up on Project 2025.
