Talking Points Memo’s Josh Marshall recently was collecting reports from readers about an absolute deluge of mailers going out to people in swing states, with no apparent targeting whatsoever. Voters running for state legislative races as Democrats were getting multiple mailers a day. They were indiscriminately stuffing people’s mailboxes with this shit – Republicans, indies, and Dems alike. Marshall never was able to track the vendor down, but it seems absolutely ripe for a scam.
