American taxpayers will be charged $5 million in what amounts to a posthumous pardon of QAnon fan Ashli Babbitt, the chemically-imbalanced Capitol rioter who was shot dead by a cop as she attempted the breach the House of Representatives chamber during the assault on the building incited by convicted felon President Trump as his first failed administraion came to an end, the Washington Post reports on the dollar amount of the settlement with Babbitt’s family.
