Freedom Caucasian intros “TDS Research Act” and no one notices

“Today, Rep Warren Davidson (R-OH) introduced the Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) Research Act of 2025. This bill would direct the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study the psychological and social roots of what is known as Trump Derangement Syndrome, a phenomenon marked by extreme negative reactions to President Donald J Trump. He was joined by original cosponsor Rep Barry Moore (R-AL),” says a press release/desperate cry for attention from Davidson’s office dated May 15th, stories about which do not appear in any articles on Fox News, Breitbart, The Hill, Mediaite, the New York Post, Axios, or any other such outlet in the six days since. The highest profile coverage it got was in shitty British rag The Daily Mail and some mockery from Wonkette.

“‘TDS has divided families, the country, and led to nationwide violence – including two assassination attempts on President Trump. The TDS Research Act would require the NIH to study this toxic state of mind, so we can understand the root cause and identify solutions,’ said Rep Davidson. ‘Instead of funding ludicrous studies such as giving methamphetamine to cats or teaching monkeys to gamble for their drinking water, the NIH should use that funding to research issues that are relevant to the real world,'” the press release continued. Neckbeard Davidson must be especially crushed thinking about that part, definitely having thought to himself something like “Watch the libs go EVEN CRAZIER over me trolling them with it’s ‘relevant to the real world,’ LMAO,” and then six days later not even disposable content mills like Raw Story or Newsweek have picked it up and propagated it.

“‘Trump Derangement Syndrome has become an epidemic on the Left,’ said Rep Moore. ‘Some individuals who suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome have participated in nationwide political and social unrest, even trying to assassinate President Trump twice. Rep Davidson’s common-sense bill will use already appropriated funds on an NIH study that can make a difference,'” the release said before closing with a list of bullshit bullet points. “The TDS Research Act addresses a critical issue: the instinctual negative and often violent reaction to any supportive statement or event related to President Trump. By leveraging NIH’s existing programs at the National Institute of Mental Health, the bill will: Investigate TDS’s origins and contributing factors, including the media’s role in amplifying the spread of TDS. Analyze its long-term impacts on individuals, communities, and public discourse,” and blah blah blah bare minimum of bullshit to ensure the media takes it “seriously.”

If Davidson or Moore are looking for press for their effort they can always get caught in a law enforcement sting op for soliciting paid sex from a teenage girl. That worked in March for the GOP Minnesota state senators whose TDS bill made national news when one of its five sponsors was arrested for such a crime that very evening. While Justin Eichorn’s arrest doesn’t mean it’ll get passed and signed into law it’s not like that was the point in the first place for that TDS bill or this one. Both crews of MAGA lawmakers wanted publicity but only the Minnesota one got it because Eichorn stepped up and made them world famous. If Moore won’t do the same then it’s on Davidson to frame him by planting copious amounts of child pornography in Moore’s briefcase before calling in an anonymous tip to the Capitol Police. It’s a sacrifice Davidson should absolutely be willing to make.

More seriously, this is just fucking hilarious how these assholes got no traction. It says a lot and nothing good about their level of strategic acumen that they drop this right as their conference was starting crunch time on the biggest piece of legislation the party’s put together in nearly a decade instead of finding a relative lull/slow news cycle a few months from now. Now maybe in all fairness they expected it to manage to break though anyway because of the obvious incentives for this kind of cunty outrage porn given the woeful state of our media environment, but what the fuck kind of idiot wouldn’t at least hedge? That’s these two morons’ greatest sin here. Not the wasting taxpayer time jerking each other off with this dipshit trolling when they’re supposed to be hard at work handing a tax cut to billionaires. It’s not like their voters or donors will ever punish them for that.

Damn, 41 likes. He even got fucking “ratioed,” lol.
