The Justice Department’s website for the Executive Office for Immigration Review’s “Operational Status Map and Court Listing” page lists the Los Angeles – N Los Angeles Street location as being closed on Monday. There’s no reason stated for the closure on the site, likely because it’s obvious.
On one hand you’d think maybe the MAGA DOJ would want fans to know that the anti-ICE protestors/rioters are disrupting the course of normal operations for the immigration system, that the unrest feeds into the political justification for deploying Marines. Then again on the other maybe they don’t because it also means the protests are disrupting the course of normal operations for the deportation system. Which was the whole point of the rioting and setting self-driving cars on fire in the first place, thus the Trump regime being open about that upshot would be tantamount to admitting defeat, if a small/temporary one. Either way, it worked for at least a day.
