By a margin of 400 to 0 to 2 on Monday the House approved a resolution condemning antisemitism, the two members voting present were Palestinian-American Michigan Dem Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib – no big shock there – and Marjorie Taylor Greene – and guess that’s not a shock either given the whole “space lasers” thing that rocketed her to national fame before her career even started.
“Condemning the rise in ideologically motivated attacks on Jewish individuals in the United States, including the recent violent assault in Boulder, Colorado, and reaffirming the House of Representatives commitment to combating antisemitism and politically motivated violence,” said the bill’s summary. Not very defensible for Tlaib, but emotions are still running high and her next statement will surely say something of that effect. More interesting will be the QAdulteress’s rationale and how she’s going to turn it into a free speech or religious freedom issue.
