“In line with the State of Qatar’s commitment to the safety of its citizens, residents, and visitors, the relevant authorities have announced the temporary suspension of air traffic in the country’s airspace. This is part of a set of precautionary measures taken in response to developments in the region,” says a bulletin from the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued Monday. The Ministry reiterates that the safety and security of all individuals on Qatari soil remains a top priority, and the state will not hesitate to take all necessary precautionary steps in this regard,” the alert continued.
