Missed it on Wednesday but this gorgon’s office on Capitol Hill was evacuated when they supposedly got threats from pro-choicers over her interview with the Wall Street Journal in which Cammack said she nearly died from an ectopic pregnancy last year but blamed “the left” for the rampant “fearmongering” making her doctors reluctant to go through with a life-saving but abortion-adjacent procedure when her fetus was 100 percent dead. On Fox News this morning Cammack added a new detail that wasn’t part of her original account to the Journal, that the doctors showed her on their phones “pro-abortion lobby ads” that had somehow been targeted at them “threatening and scaring doctors away from helping women” before they relented and saved her life.

Hmmmmm… Sounds almost like that would’ve been important enough to mention in her first interview about the matter, an interview that, as mentioned, was very unlikely to have been given willingly so much as a rear guard damage control that Cammack is now trying to spin into a crusade against the militant perfidy of those opposed to the very fucking law that nearly got her killed. A law that 57 percent of Floridians voted against last year but because the DeSantis regime upped the ballot measure threshold to 60 percent failed. When she says “We need to get the politics out of women’s healthcare” she’s just telling people to shut up and deal with it like she did.
