Remember that time last year when Picasso-faced Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was so desperate to avoid being deposed in a lawsuit brought by his former lieutenants who had exposed his crimes that he appealed to the state Supreme Court to get him out of it and then they did him a solid just hours after convicted felon President Trump demanded they stay the deposition in a Truth Social post? Fucked up, but to be completely fair they’re just as corrupt as Paxton and probably were going to protect him from having to plead the Fifth anyway – especially since they eventually ruled for him – so their denial that Trump had anything to do with stay was more plausible than not.
It’d be interesting to see if the Jerusalem District Court is going to try a similar denial after postponing Israeli dictator Benjamin Netanyahu’s scheduled Monday hearing in his long-ongoing corruption case following a similar command from the Orange Yahweh. It might be a bit tougher of a sell as, per the Times of Israel, the court had twice denied Team Bibi’s motions to push it back because their client had important genocide stuff to do on Monday. Then the American dictator weighed in, threatening to pull military funding for the country if the court didn’t let him off the hook.
“The judges state in their ruling that the explanations provided had substantial additional information over what was presented in the requests on Friday, and therefore decided to cancel this week’s two scheduled hearings,” the Times writes, emphasis added. Bibi has more hearings scheduled for next week in the “long running, politically motivated… TRAVESTY OF ‘JUSTICE’ WITCH HUNT”
