House Oversight Chairbilly James Comer’s committee has withdrawn their subpoena with former FBI Director and Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller after his family informed them the 81 year-old retired lawman is suffering from Parkinson’s disease and has difficulty speaking, the New York Times reports. Last month Paul Sperry from shitty right wing aggregator RealClearPolitics had reported that Mueller has been living in a “memory care facility,” so this is close enough.
“Bob was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the summer of 2021. He retired from the practice of law at the end of that year. He taught at his law school alma mater during the fall of both 2021 and 2022, and he retired at the end of 2022. His family asks that his privacy be respected,” Mueller’s family said in a statement to the Times. Dipshit Comer had subpoenaed Mueller as part of his investigation into convicted felon President Trump’s dearly departed friend Jeffrey Epstein, for some reason believing the FBI Director at the time of the first case against Epstein in 2008 would have more information than Alex Acosta, the former US Attorney who actually fucking “prosecuted” the sex trafficker and later served as Trump’s Secretary of Labor, who was not among the subpoenaed.
Comer did subsequently announce that Acosta would sit for a “voluntary interview” in a press release that noticeably omitted whether the shitweasel would be answering questions under oath.
