Minutes later a guy who almost certainly did have the heads-up, Hustlin’ Howard Nutlick, was telling CNBC’s Andrew Ross Sorkin on Friday that the numbers “will get better because you’ll take out the people who are just trying to create noise against the president… this is gonna be the greatest growth economy six months from now, a year from today,” as if he hadn’t on July 30 tweeted “the Trump Economy has officially arrived. Biden’s first quarter is behind us, growth is accelerating.”

Last and certainly least was the funereal scene on Fox Business News as the numbers came out…

All of it raises the question of why Trump bothered to fire the Bureau of Labor Statistics Commissioner Erika McEntarfer and install creepy Nazi-curious MAGA incel EJ Antoni at the post.

CNN’s KFile has a no doubt intentionally-timed answer in a report identifying Antoni as the person behind an anonymous Twitter account that posted shit like “You can’t run a race on your knees” about former Vice President Kamala Harris and called Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s rape accuser Christine Blasey-Ford “Miss Piggy” in 2018. Then in February 2020 the account retweeted a post that said “Advice For Women: How To Land a Great Guy,” including tips like “be in shape,” “grow your hair long,” “be sweet,” “learn to cook,” and “don’t be annoying,” and concluding “Angry feminists and simps will try to sabotage you in the comments. Don’t listen to them. Listen to me.”
