DC US Attorney Judge Box-o-Wine on Monday went above FBI Director Kash Patel’s similarly damaged head and got him overruled on the firing of four agents who were targeted in yet another purge of those connected to post-January 6th insurrection investigations, the New York Times’s Glenn Thrush reports. Why? Firing them would damage ongoing investigations into other crimes.

The actually surprising part is that Jeanine Pirro’s the one speaking up and saying it’s time to cut the bullshit so actual law enforcement work can be done, that these guys can’t just be replaced with Proud Boys and other MAGA miscreants who failed the ICE physical fitness exam and drug tests.
